Transitional Care Unit (TCU)
Transitional care patients are cared for in a separate unit on the third floor. Our transitional care interdisciplinary team provides high quality nursing care and rehabilitation while focusing on helping each patient achieve their highest level of function and independence as possible. Transitional care patients require daily rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and are admitted to the unit with a reasonable expectation for discharge.
Three nutritious meals and refreshments are served daily in the dining room located on the unit. Family members can enjoy meals with their loved ones. Spacious lounges and outdoor patios are available for the enjoyment of our patients and their families. Please contact Jane Hayek at 612-821-3191 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to schedule a tour.
Mount Olivet has always been my first choice when my mother has needed transitional care and therapy. I am continually impressed with the collaborative approach the staff takes with assessing and anticipating the needs of the patient. Across the board, all personnel in Mount Olivet TCU are supportive of the patient and the family during what can be a very stressful time. Therapy is hard work, and the Mount Olivet staff provides exceptional care for our exceptional
family members. —Liz S. daughter of Mount Olivet TCU patient
