COVID-19 UPDATE (7/14)
We continue to complete weekly whole house testing, and our positive COVID-19 cases continue to decline in both buildings. Due to the decline in positive cases Mount Olivet Home has returned to eating meals in their assigned dining rooms and we will reinstate combined therapeutic groups for the facility. We will continue to assess the number of positive cases after each week of testing and the need to change any programing if applicable.
At this time both buildings do remain in outbreak, therefore we will continue whole house testing until further notice to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
If you choose to visit your loved one while in outbreak you need to be aware of the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
We ask that you adhere to the following infection control guidelines to visit:
- Check in at the Kiosk and wear your printed label.
- Excellent hand hygiene.
- Wear a face mask at all times.
- Go directly to your loved one’s room and we will facilitate the visit by bringing your loved one to you if they are not already in their room.
- Social distancing from all residents and staff.
- Visit in the room unless directed otherwise.
- Directly exit the facility after the visit.
We appreciate your patience and partnership in protecting your loved ones.
Thank you,
Mount Olivet Home COVID-19 Task Force
