At this time Mount Olivet Home and Mount Olivet Careview Home are both in outbreak.
We now have updated guidance from CDC and CMS. They are starting to loosen some of the COVID restrictions that had previously been imposed on nursing homes. Below are some changes that have been made:
- You will no longer need to check in at the kiosks when you come in. Instead, you will only need to sign in and out at the desk.
- ALL visitors are still required to wear a mask while in the building.
- We no longer need to quarantine new residents or residents that have been exposed to someone that tested positive. Instead, we will test those residents on day 1, day 3, and day 5 after exposure or admission. If a positive test occurs during that time, the resident will then be placed into isolation for 10 days.
As a reminder, if you test positive for COVID-19, please do not visit for 10 days. We also encourage you to practice hand hygiene and social distancing to keep our residents safe.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.
