Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care at Mt. Olivet Home and Mount Olivet Careview Home centers on healing, wholeness and well-being working toward providing an interfaith ministry that nurtures resident, patient, family, volunteer, and staff values and beliefs.  A part of the interdisciplinary team, chaplains focus on the dimension of human life that relates to the way persons (individual and community) experience, express and/or seek meaning, purpose, and the way they connect to the moment, to self, to others, to nature, and/or the sacred.

Chaplains are available to residents, their loved ones and staff in times of vulnerability – listening to hopes and fears, reconnecting people to their sources of strength and meaning, and transforming through prayer, ritual, and worship services. A variety of spiritual experiences are provided throughout our facility. Bible studies, devotions, sacraments, pastoral lay visits, seasonal religious programming and worship services are offered multiple times throughout the month.

Worship services are provided each week in the Lund Chapel; all are invited to attend.
