Family Council
All family members of Mount Olivet Home and Mount Olivet Careview Home residents are invited to attend Family Council meetings. The purpose of the family council is to ensure quality of life and care for our loved ones and give families and other caregivers a voice in decision that affect them. We meet to share ideas, inform and educate, act on issues, and sponsor activities. Meeting date confirmation and topics of upcoming meetings are announced in Highlights, the monthly facility newsletter. If you have any questions please contact Jane Hayek at 612.821.3191 or jhayek@mtolivethomes.org
Resident Council
The Resident Council meets monthly and all residents are invited to attend. Representatives from each floor bring discussion items to the meeting, including residents’ concerns and ideas for programs and outings. This group ensures residents have a voice in decisions regarding their rights and facility policies. Meetings are announced on the monthly therapeutic recreation calendars.
